Mission accomplished!

Mission accomplished!
Me at the end of a workday!

Monday, 28 November 2016

It's a serious chore
To maintain close relations.
It takes commitment,

Determination,
And a persistent fervour
To face them smiling.

Hesitating like
Faulty clockwork Chinese toys,
He chafed under the

Disdainful patronage
Of a man for whom he felt
Nothing but esteem!

Tuesday, 22 November 2016

Fearful of sounding
As if he'd overdosed
On sour grapes,

He whispered prayers,
Fatuous prolixity, to
Dystopian gods

Whose jaundiced eyes
Shone diaphanous blinding  light;
Unredeemed  he'll soar

Luxuriating in
The power of unhinged
Language... he is free!

A shimmering pond
Under Helios' nonchalant
Gaze; paroxysm...

Steeds champing at the
Bit, snorting most auspicious
Hell schadenfreudes!

Apotheosis!

Floundering

The incredible
Ship ran aground, its tough crew
Unaware it seems

Of invisible
Sycophantic sharpened teeth;
Firmly stuck it is!

Saturday, 22 October 2016

The frenzy lasted
Till day became night again;
This is its element!

Monday, 3 October 2016

Why are collective
Convulsions on this planet
Fragments of despair,

Headless Albatross
Swimming fast to the surface;
Our conscience clearer.

Chinese white tea pots
Hanging from a lampadaire;
Unctuous forethought!

Sufism, mystical
Dimension of Islamic
Faith of warmth; puzzling!

Voluminous crowns
Overshadow short comings
When duty won't call!

Amor's weaknesses
Are too many to list here;
It baffles logic!

Monday, 1 August 2016

Reform all surreal
Faiths that promote prejudice;
Myths abound here.

Wednesday, 18 May 2016

You had motive, means,
Opportunity to slight
All that matters most.

You should let sleeping
Dogs lie, or else they will come
Surely after you!

Sinking ships

Alzheimer’s disease,
Erasure of everything
We have ever learned

Even instinctive
Functions  such as chewing and
Swallowing, speaking,

 Continence control,
The brain inevitably
Losing its instincts

To regulate most
Vital organic actions.
We then are laid up

And suffer ailments
Common to the bed ridden:
Infections, heart trouble,

Pneumonia...the brain
Begins to clot with plaque and
Bad fibrous tangles

While neurons shut down
By the millions, dimming,
Distinguishing us

From what we like to
Define ourselves as members
Of the human specie.

Why declare obvious
Moral  equivocation,
In ambiguous

Enterprise, washed
Away by overwhelming
Malignant passions?

Biggest gang around
Is indeed the government.
Common occurrence!

Supercilious look
Accompany the usual
Desiderata!

 Le mur

Ta lutte est avec moi!
Brique par brique le mur
S’érige très haut!

Illusoire, mais là…
Imprenable il se veut;
Et voilà! Conquis!
